December was a busy month for Apple with the releases of the most anticipated creative tools: QuickTime 6.5, Final Cut Pro 4, DVD Studio Pro 2 and Shake.

Also in December, iLife, the 4 popular multimedia tools family, earned the 2003 Award of Excellence http://www.techlearning.com/story/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=16700431&pgno=2 with iTunes for music management and the iTunes Music Store giving instant access to AOL members, while reaching the 25 million downloaded songs since its release in April. iPhoto for digital photography editing, iMovie for digital moviemaking, and iDVD for burning DVDs.
